Elsinore Year in Review

2004 was a busy year for Elsinore. In addition to routine fixes and updates, significant new features were added to Visual Intercept products. Integration to Windows SharePoint, an integrated screenshot utility, and a report scheduler are some of the more noteworthy enhancements.

Elsinore also focused significant resources on the development of its next generation issue management products. Elsinore's IssueNet is a .NET and Web Services based platform for issue management and work item tracking solutions. This platform is the foundation for the next generation of Intercept products, as well as providing the base for other product offerings Elsinore and its business partners will design. In 2006 Elsinore began to demonstrate some of the new capabilities of the platform in a webinar series that will continue into 2005 as we finish the platform and the new version of Intercept.

If you are not up-to-date on your product updates, we hope that this review will encourage you to upgrade in order to take advantage of all the new Visual Intercept functionality. Updates are offered to customers with active support and maintenance free of charge.

Sign Up for the Third in the Intercept 4.0 Webinar Series

In the second session of the Intercept 4.0 Webinar series we took an in depth look at how the Intercept 4.0 forms designer allows users to build multiple forms for a single item and use to selection rules to present different forms to the user based on context. We bound these new forms to the new classes we created in the first session.

In the next webinar in the series we will shift direction slightly to demonstrate the Intercept 4.0 workflow designer and engine. The webinar will focus on how to use the workflow designer to build a state and transition model for tasks which will include various workflow actions and conditions to enforce and automate the overall development workflow. To provide the proper background for the demonstration we will also discuss the Intercept issue and task model that allows single issues to be decomposed into a set of assignable tasks.
