Advisory Board Membership
Many of you are aware that we instituted a Customer Advisory Board last February. This board meets on a regular basis to discuss current and future plans for Visual Intercept, as well as innovative extensions built by our customers and partners. This forum continues to be very valuable for Elsinore and the members of the board. As an example, in our last meeting, we demonstrated two new extensions that were previously announced in earlier newsletters: the auto escalation module built by Dorset Software and the Visual Intercept Mobile PDA version built by our customer and partner, InteHealth.
We would welcome to the board additional customers who would like to participate in this level of discussion in order to have more influence on Visual Intercept's features and capabilities. The board meets approximately once or twice each quarter at 4 p.m. EST via conference call and WebEx as appropriate. Tech Tip: Using the TEXTAREA Tag in Notification Templates
When formatting your Visual Intercept e-mail notification template, the use of the text area tag for large text fields can provide you with much better control of how the text is formatted and a better overall appearance. In particular, it can ensure that the text will wrap properly in those situations where the e-mail client that receives the notification does recognize carriage returns. This month's Tech Tip describes how you can use this tag in the e-mail notification template and provides a sample template you can customize to your organization.
