The Intercept 4.0 Webinar Series Begins This November
Starting in November Elsinore Technologies will begin a series of monthly webinars on Intercept 4.0 to be released next year. Each webinar will focus on a specific feature of the new product and will last approximately 30 minutes. We believe a series of webinars focused on specific features will provide the best forum for familiarizing our customers with the new product and generating constructive feedback.
The first webinar will be a demonstration and question/answer session on how this version of Intercept provides a degree of database customization. This customization will allow you to add custom item types to the system in addition to adding additional fields to items shipped with the product. In this demonstration you will see how Intercept's new object oriented schema and design tools will allow you to add, with no programming, entirely new classes or types to the system which feature object oriented properties such as inheritance.

Elsinore Tests Visual Intercept with Visual SourceSafe 2005 at Microsoft Compatibility Labs
With the release of Visual Studio 2005 Microsoft will also release a new version of Visual SourceSafe. In September Elsinore developers went to Redmond to test Visual Intercept with an early version of the new product.

Tech Tip: Implementing Windows SharePoint Integration
One of the significant features of Visual Intercept 3.6 is integration to Windows SharePoint Services for document management. The integration to Windows SharePoint allows your organization to leverage the document management capabilities of Microsoft Windows SharePoint for documents attached to items in Visual Intercept.
This allows you to keep requirements, specs, test plans, log files, screen captures, and other documents in a system that supports document collaboration while having them accessible from incidents, projects, and other items in Visual Intercept.
