What our customers are saying...

"Visual Intercept has been a great tool for taking feedback from customers around the world and turning it into tasks for our own employees, whether they are in Seattle, Boston, Italy or Japan. With Visual Intercept an issue can be logged from London, tested and refined in Boston, and resolved in Osaka. At the end of the day, we can manage all of that data into quick, clear, and insightful reports through Elsinore's partner products such as Crystal Reports from Business Objects. That helps us complete the loop so that even though we have a lot of data to get to geographically dispersed stakeholders, everyone can be kept up to date."

Using Visual Intercept for Customer Support

Visual Intercept is a powerful issue management tool, and when combined with Visual Intercept Web Relay it can also be an effective customer support tool. Elsinore’s Technical Support department uses Visual Intercept as their customer support system to capture and manage incidents submitted via email, telephone calls and the customer Web Relay site.

SDK Examples now available on-line

Visual Intercept SDK example projects are now available on the support section of the Elsinore website. By making the examples available on-line Elsinore will be able to distribute a wider variety of example projects. As Elsinore and its customers develop new SDK solutions they can be published and will not be dependent upon an SDK release for their distribution.

Visual Intercept SDK based solutions and utilities can be created using a variety of platforms, development environments, and languages ranging from Visual Studio using C#, ASP, or ASP.NET to the Office Suite VBA environments. If you would like to see examples specific to an environment or programming language, please contact support, at .

Tech Tip: Hiding Fields and Tabs in Visual Intercept Web

When customizing Visual Intercept Web to suit the needs of your environment, you may find that there are certain stock fields or tabs that you wish to remove from view. This can easily be accomplished by editing Visual Intercept Cascading Style Sheets.

This month's Tech Tip describes how you can hide fields and tabs from the incident management pages of Visual Intercept Web.
