The next major version of Visual Intercept will include many new capabilities including requirements tracking, knowledge base support, and the management of software test cases. These new capabilities will be highly customizable in both form and behavior. However, as with all Visual Intercept products, it is important that these new features be useful, innovative, and implement best practices right out of the box.
To this end, the final design of these features will be based on industry best practices, our long experience delivering issue management solutions, and your feedback. By evaluating customer feedback, we hope to identify areas of consensus among our users in regard to the complete design and implementation for particular features.
To accomplish this we would like to offer you the opportunity to submit documents describing your current methodology for tracking and managing requirements, test cases, and knowledge base items. These documents can also include requirements for solutions you are evaluating or plan to adopt or build. In addition to finding consensus among our users, this review process should allow us to develop more focused questions for the product’s beta program and provide a starting point for dialog about many of the product’s new features.
