Elsinore Technologies To Participate In New Microsoft Visual Studio Industry Partner Program

Research Triangle Park, NC (July 29, 2003) -- Elsinore Technologies, elsitech.com, developer of the Visual Intercept enterprise issue management platform for managing the planned tasks and unexpected events (issues) associated with work, today announces its support for Microsoft’s new Visual Studio Industry Partner program. These enhancements will help Elsinore deepen its integration into Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 and further integrate Visual Studio .NET 2003 technologies into its products.

"With broadened support options, our own developers have the necessary resources to build a tightly integrated solution," said John Lockhart, Elsinore’s Product Manager. "And, with new licensing options, we can enjoy greater flexibility in how we deploy our solutions to customers."

Elsinore’s Enterprise Issue Management System integrates into Visual Studio .NET 2003 and also features its own integrated Visual Studio .NET scripting environment. These integrations allow developers working in Visual Studio .NET to access software development issues directly within the development environment as well as access remote Visual SourceSafe databases over the internet. As a result, Visual Intercept helps even geographically dispersed development teams increase productivity and improve the documentation of their work.

"Microsoft is pleased to be offering these expanded marketing and technology benefits to its industry partners," said Susanne Peterson, director for the Developer and Platform Evangelism Division at Microsoft Corp. "Our mutual customers will continue to benefit from the integration of Elsinore’s products with Visual Studio .NET 2003."

The improved VSIP program also assists Elsinore in planning its future product line, the Elsinore Issue Management Framework. "Elsinore has been building products integrated with Microsoft development tools since 1996 and is currently building a Web services-based solution using the .NET Framework," said Mark Uland Elsinore’s CTO. "As we build these new products, Microsoft’s commitment to its industry partners via the new VSIP program will help us develop solutions faster and increase acceptance in the market."
