Elsinore Founding Member of Raleigh MPUG

Visual Intercept 3.0

Elsinore Technologies is pleased to announce that Visual Intercept Web 3.0 is on schedule for final release in April, 2002. This effort has been aided in no small part by the product's beta testers and the members of the Elsinore Technologies Customer Advisory Group. Incidents logged by our beta testers have helped Elsinore catch important defects and provide consensus on elements of the feature set. Feedback from the Customer Advisory Group has provided insight into the product design from experienced users of Visual Intercept as well as confirmation that the new product is meeting its objectives.

Elsinore is pleased with the reception the product has received and the use our customers are making of it. In demonstrations, the product has elicited a very enthusiastic response from existing customers as well as those new to Visual Intercept. In addition, some Visual Intercept users are already implementing Version 3.0 in production environments.

Putting Customer Insights To Work

Elsinore Technologies held a Customer Advisory Group meeting on February 27, 2002. The Group provides a forum for a cross-section of Elsinore Technologies' valued customers to suggest improvements to Visual Intercept and to share their experiences using and customizing their software.

The meeting yielded a wealth of information, including:

Users are having their internal partners and customers use Visual Intercept Web Relay to bring them into the quality assurance process and enable faster response to incidents.

Users reported numerous ways they have customized Visual Intercept, such as:

  • developing custom bug notification processes;modifying Web Relay to create an internal software order form;
  • creating a single login area;
  • building a mass customization feature;
  • integrating the accounting system with Visual Intercept to bill customers more accurately and efficiently.* Users requested more reporting and routing capabilities.

For those Advisory Group Members who are participating in the 3.0 beta, the feedback was extremely positive with emphasis centered on ease of use, improved UI, and performance.One of the Customer Advisory Group's most important functions will be providing insights for the design of Elsinore's future Visual Intercept releases. In response to our European customers and in recognition of the increasing need within the European community for Enterprise Issue Management, Elsinore Technologies is pleased to announce the elevation of Elsinore Technologies' European Affiliate, Intelligent Business Tools (IBT), to Master Reseller.
