To better serve our customers, Elsinore has partnered with Web Paradox to create online training material for Visual Intercept. As these modules are made available, customers will be able to extend Visual Intercept education to their entire organization on a timeline they control. Saving Money With Maintenance

Maintenance Consolidation Program

In an attempt to simplify our maintenance program for our customers, we are instituting a maintenance consolidation program this month. Many of our customers have purchased licenses in batches with disparate maintenance end dates. In order to simplify the process, we would like to rationalize all licenses back to a January to December timeframe. As an enticement, we are offering a 15% discount against whatever the prorated amount would be to cover maintenance through the end of December, 2002. For example, if a customer pays $2400/year in maintenance and is currently covered through August 2002, we would take the remaining months prorated ($200/month x 4 mos. = $800) and apply a 15% discount ($800 x .85 ) = $680 which would then extend the maintenance through the end of 2002.

50% Discount for Upgrade to 3.0
As many of you may know from our license agreement, customers currently on maintenance are entitled to purchase our latest release at a 50% discount to our standard upgrade pricing. The upgrade price is set at 40% of list without maintenance and 20% of list with maintenance. With maintenance currently at 17%, it is clearly in your best interest to get back on maintenance. With the added discount to start in January and version 3.0 just around the corner, there's no better time to do so. Service Release - 1Q 2002

Visual Intercept Web Enterprise version 2.0.1.152 is now available for customers with active support and maintenance agreements. Notable enhancements include changes to access the server side web preferences to simplify security issues under Windows 2000, as well as changes in ASP error handling that could result in intermitant web hanging problems. We encourage Visual Intercept Web Enterprise customers to download this latest service release, even if they are not currently experiencing any problems.

Tech Tip: Optimizing Visual Intercept Web

When you install a Visual Intercept Web application, the installer will configure the web site with default web site options that are ideal for most environments.
