Windows XP Service Pack 2

As customers begin rolling out Windows XP Service Pack 2, there are inevitably concerns that certain applications in their environment may begin behaving in unexpected ways.

Elsinore Technologies, Inc. has tested Visual Intercept Enterprise with Windows XP Service Pack 2 and is pleased to announce that there are no known issues that would prevent Visual Intercept Enterprise from continuing to operate normally.

One new feature in Windows XP Service Pack 2 is the Personal Firewall. If you install Windows XP Service Pack 2 on a machine acting as a Web Server and activate the Personal Firewall, you will need to open Port80 in order for your users to be able to access the Visual Intercept Web applications.

Visual Intercept 3.6.2 Is Now Available!

Elsinore is pleased to announce that Visual Intercept 3.6.2 will be available on August 31, 2004. This release contains routine fixes and updates.

As always this service release is available free of charge to all Elsinore customers with active support and maintenance.
