Elsinore Support FAQ’s

Many customers have had questions regarding their Support and Maintenance Contracts. The following are the most common.

Am I eligible for customer support? All Elsinore customers who purchase Support and Maintenance are eligible for support for the duration of their Support and Maintenance contract.
Is there a limit on the number of support requests I can make? No. As long as your support and maintenance contract is current you have unlimited access to Elsinore Support engineers.
How do I obtain the latest version of my Visual Intercept products? Customers current on Maintenance receive point release updates for free that can be downloaded by visiting our Product Updates section of our website. These updates typically are released each quarter and include standard bug fixes as well as feature enhancements.
When are Elsinore Support engineers available? Elsinore Support engineers are available Monday through Friday between 9AM and 5PM Eastern Time, excluding holidays.

June Survey Results and VIP Winner

Last month we asked you to complete a survey that would allow us to find out more about the ways you are using Visual Intercept. We greatly appreciate the time respondents took to fill out the survey and found the results to be very useful.

The survey supported observations and anecdotal evidence that a large percentage of our customers choose and use Visual Intercept for processes other than software development – particularly for general IT issue management and product support. In addition Visual Intercept is being used for Sarbanes Oxley, ISO 9000 Compliance, 21 CFR 11, and EPA Compliance initiatives. We also received useful feedback on features that would help our customers further extend their use of Visual Intercept beyond software development.

All those who completed the survey were entered in a drawing to win a free license of Visual Intercept Project. The winner of the drawing was Joe Evangelisto of Titan. Everyone at Elsinore would like to congratulate Joe, and once again thank everyone who participated in the survey.

Tech Tip: Setting Visual Intercept Web Security

Visual Intercept Web and Web Relay are dependent upon several IIS and directory level configuration settings. Typically these settings will be set by the installer, but in some cases where the IIS server has been locked down or a user manually makes changes to the site these configuration settings may be impacted. This tech-tip describes the basic elements of security as they apply to Visual Intercept Web and Web Relay.
