No Bull: Elsinore to Host its First Users Conference!
Elsinore is pleased to announce that its First Users Conference will be held in Raleigh, North Carolina on June 12-13, 2003. The focus of the event will be "Leveraging Your Investment in Visual Intercept." Since the product is so easy to install and intuitive to use, most of you have never met anyone from Elsinore and taken advantage of the many years of experience and thousands of customers with whom we have interacted - not to mention our own best practices with the product and a more detailed review of the latest enhancements and future plans. This is an opportunity to change that, while at the same time making new acquaintances and sharing ideas with other Visual Intercept customers. Both user and technical tracks will be offered to help you better leverage the capabilities of the system. Users like yourself will participate and share innovative implementations of Visual Intercept.

Integrate Visual Intercept with Rational ClearCase®
Elsinore has partnered with ReleaseTEAM, a firm that specializes in configuration management solutions, to develop integrations between best-of-breed change management systems and Visual Intercept. An integration with Rational ClearCase® is available today for seamless defect tracking and comprehensive software configuration management. The integration provides development teams with a common view of all incidents across tools. Change sets, enhancement requests and coding issues are tracked between Rational ClearCase® and Elsinore Visual Intercept.
The Rational ClearCase® integration was completed using the Visual Intercept Software Development Kit (SDK). "I found the Visual Intercept SDK extremely intuitive, fully functional and well documented. The robustness of the SDK allowed us to create a custom integration in a relatively short amount of time," said Shawn Doyle, CEO, ReleaseTEAM.

Tech Tip: Using Document Bookmarking as a Powerful Ad-Hoc Reporting Tool
This month's Tech Tip describes how you can use Visual Intercept Web's bookmarking feature to produce reports that contain entirely ad-hoc sets of incidents or other documents. This use of the bookmarking feature is significant because these types of reports are very useful, but can be difficult or impossible to produce without a feature like document bookmarking.
