August 16, 2007 - Elsinore Technologies Releases IssueNet 4.5 with IssueNet Assist and Insight

Research Triangle Park, NC (August 16, 2007) -- Elsinore Technologies, elsitech.com, developer of the Intercept™ enterprise solution for managing the planned tasks and unexpected issues associated with software development, today announced that it has released IssueNet® 4.5. In addition to feature upgrades and refinements to the core Intercept solution, IssueNet 4.5 includes the IssueNet Assist™ help desk solution, and introduces a new dashboard product, IssueNet Insight™.

"IssueNet Assist is a full fledged solution for managing help desk and product support issues," said John Lockhart, IssueNet Product Manager. "Built on the proven IssueNet engine, Assist configures IssueNet with items, fields, workflows, reports, and forms designed for managing a complete customer support process." Assist was developed by, and is currently used to manage, Elsinore’s own customer support process and is now available to Elsinore customers. Assist can be used as a standalone solution or combined with other solutions such as Intercept to provide fully integrated customer support and software defect tracking processes.

IssueNet Insight is a new Elsinore product which adds dashboard reports and metrics to Elsinore solutions. Using Insight, an organization can provide its team members and customers with a variety of dashboards that present real-time information in the form of charts, gauges, and tabular reports. Every dashboard can provide multiple levels of drill down which allows easy navigation from high level statistics to specific issues and tasks. “Visibility and transparency are the cornerstones of well managed projects – Insight delivers the information stakeholders need to make better decisions,” said Elsinore CTO, Jake Morgan.
