April 5, 2007 - Elsinore Technologies Releases IssueNet Intercept 4.2

Research Triangle Park, NC (April, 2007) -- Elsinore Technologies, elsitech.com, developer of the Intercept enterprise solution for managing the planned tasks and issues associated with software development, announced today that it has released Intercept 4.2. This latest version of Intercept is based on a 1.2 version of Elsinore’s IssueNet issue management platform. IssueNet is a web services platform for issue management solutions which supports Elsinore’s existing products as well as new issue management solutions developed by Elsinore, its partners, and its customers.

"This release was primarily motivated by IssueNet Workspace" said John Lockhart Elsinore Product Manager. "Workspace brings Microsoft Outlook and Visual Studio integration to all IssueNet based solutions, and introduces enhanced workflow integration between the user’s working environment and the issue management solution." With Workspace users always have transparent access to their issues and tasks within the context of their Microsoft Office and development tools.

Other enhancements include integration to the Microsoft MSBuild utility, new custom form controls, and other user interface and deployment enhancements suggested by users of the IssueNet platform. This latest release also includes a number of minor enhancements and fixes. This service release is available free of charge to all Intercept 4.0 customers with active support and maintenance.
