April 5, 2007 - Elsinore Technologies Releases IssueNet Workspace

Research Triangle Park, NC (April, 2007) -- Elsinore Technologies, elsitech.com, developer of the Intercept enterprise solution for managing the planned tasks and issues associated with software development, announced today that it has released IssueNet Workspace. IssueNet is a web services platform for issue management solutions which supports Elsinore’s existing products as well as new issue management solutions developed by Elsinore, its partners, and its customers. IssueNet Workspace integrates IssueNet solutions with Microsoft Outlook and Visual Studio.

"The value of Workspace is twofold", said John Lockhart Elsinore Product Manager. "One benefit is that team members have immediate access to the issue management system from within their working environment. The other benefit derives from integration into the workflow of the host application – for example, the ability to create or link to issues from e-mail items in Outlook. Ease of access and more direct integration to other business processes results in more effective capture of unplanned issues and tasks and an overall higher quality of information."

Workspace is the latest in a series of out of the box integrations Elsinore has provided to its customers beginning with Visual Studio tools in the mid 1990’s. Since then, the range of integrations has extended through the Microsoft Office suite and also encompassed a variety of other products. In addition, to integrations Elsinore customers use off the shelf, Elsinore also has extensive experience developing integrations for specific customers.
