Elsinore is a Finalist in Microsoft's Business Value Partner Challenge

Elsinore Technologies was recently named one of 12 finalists from a field of 40 participants in the Microsoft® Project 2002 Business Value Challenge (BVC). This program assists participating Microsoft partners in learning and building business solutions using Microsoft Project Server 2002, Microsoft Project Professional 2002, and Microsoft Project Web-Access Server 2002, and highlights partners' successful solutions. Working with iN DEMAND, which is currently implementing Visual Intercept Project in conjunction with Microsoft Project 2002, Elsinore created a product demo that we showed to a Microsoft judging panel on June 12. We were chosen as a finalist during the Microsoft Project Partner Technical Briefing last week, and we will demonstrate our solution during Microsoft Fusion 2002, a partner event which will be held July 12-15 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

"Elsinore Technologies should feel extremely proud to have competed for, and won, a finalist position in the Microsoft Project 2002 Business Value Challenge," said Chris Capossela, general manager of the Microsoft Project business unit. "The judging panel chose each finalist's solution for its unique project management offering, market viability, integration of Microsoft Project with other applications and implementation of the new features in the enterprise product line."

"We worked hard to deliver a robust and feature-rich solution for the Microsoft Project 2002 BVC, and we are extremely pleased to be recognized as a finalist," said Daniel Soper, president of Elsinore Technologies. "The Challenge allowed us to learn Microsoft Project Server and Professional intimately, and our enterprise clients will benefit greatly from our early development and knowledge of these new products."

Letter From the President

On behalf of Elsinore Technologies, I would like to take a moment to thank all of you for your continuing support and patronage. Your response to our latest release, Visual Intercept 3.0, has been overwhelmingly positive.

We are actively engaged in the development of our first service release for 3.0. This release will include many more features and extended functionality based on your responses. We anticipate at least one more release beyond that prior to the announcement of our next product offering.

Our focused response to your needs and desires has driven us to provide you with a full-featured, web-based, cost-effective application that has recently been integrated with other products. This award-winning, best-of-breed approach will continue to provide a powerful method of keeping you IN THE KNOW.

In addition, several of you have taken the opportunity to expand the use of Visual Intercept into other areas of your organization. Designed for this kind of expansion, Elsinore's Visual Intercept is the perfect application for Portfolio Issue Management. We have heard terrific stories of companies using Visual Intercept for processes in audit compliance and clinical trial issue tracking along with the use of Visual Intercept Web Relay to link their customers into the project loop.

Elsinore is in its seventh year of operations and continues to remain a profitable technology company in an ever-challenging marketplace. Our stability and leadership in software defect tracking and most recently, Portfolio Issue Management, will allow us to continue a strong partnership that meets your business needs.

From each of the team members at Elsinore Technologies, we say thank you for your continuing support and valuable contributions.

Daniel E. Soper
President

Tech Tip: Changing the Location of Custom Fields in Visual Intercept Web 3.0

In addition to allowing custom fields to be placed on an separate tab, Visual Intercept Web 3.0 allows you to place custom fields on the document header, where they are always visible. Placing custom fields in the document header is particularly useful when you have a small number of custom fields that don't require a separate tab. However, in order to use this feature most effectively, you will need to choose how you would like to position these fields. This month's Tech Tip describes how you can use Visual Intercept Web's style sheets to achieve total control over custom field layouts.
