IssueNet Central provides a ClickOnce deployment package to allow users to launch the rich client interface from a URL without running an installation package. ClickOnce handles IssueNet assembly versioning and ensures the correct .NET platform installed. When upgrades to IssueNet are published through IssueNet Central, client computers automatically receive the latest update the next time they launch the application.
When you install the IssueNet platform, the installer creates the IssueNetCentral web site. This site acts as a portal for launching IssueNet solutions. When a client wants to use an IssueNet solution such as Intercept, the simply open their web browser and navigate to the IssueNetCentral web site. The user then clicks on the Launch button next to the solution they want to use. The ClickOnce application will resolve any updates required on the client computer and then launch the application.
When you need to deploy an upgrade or an update to IssueNet simply install the update on the computer running the IssueNet Central site. The next time users launch the software using IssueNet Central they will launch the new version.
